A Steady Place to Heal
I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma and anxiety. Many of the clients I work with appear strong and capable on the outside, while quietly carrying overwhelm, unresolved experiences, or patterns that feel difficult to untangle.
Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. My hope is to offer a space where you feel safe enough to exhale - where your story is met with compassion steadiness, and care. Healing does not happen through pressure of urgency. It unfolds in relationships, at a pace that honors your nervous system and your story.
My Approach
My work is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based care. I am a fully certified EMDR therapist and integrate EMDR alongside other therapeutic approaches to help clients gently process experiences that continue to feel heavy or intrusive.
I believe healing begins with safety. When the nervous system feels supported and regulated, deeper healing becomes possible. Rather than rushing toward change, we build a foundation of trust - and from there, meaningful growth can take place.
Therapy here is not about fixing what is “wrong.” It is about tending to what has been wounded and creating space for hope to return.
Faith and Therapy
My faith shapes the way I understand healing. I believe we are deeply loved by God and created with inherent dignity and worth - even when trauma has distorted how we see ourselves.
I also believe our brains are uniquely designed with the capacity to heal. Trauma can interrupt that process, but it does not eliminate it. Through approaches like EMDR, we can support the brain’s natural restorative abilities and move toward integration, clarity, and peace.
For client who desire it, faith can be thoughtfully incorporated into our work together. For others, therapy remains grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and respect for your values.
Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of my work, I value time with my husband and our two daughters and the steady rhythms of our family life. I also prioritize staying active and caring for my own well-being - practices that reflect my belief that healing is supported by consistency, connection, and balance.
